Interrogating the Enemy

With the immediate threat neutralized, the heroes dragged their captive into a small office to pump him for information. It was quickly decided that Ekeraath and Rudy would use their unique attributes to "help" the captive realize his best interest was to cooperate. Leenia backed that up with the Detect Lies ritual.

As the interrogation was set to begin, Adam/Ekeraath was looking for some guidance on how best to be intimidating...I'm not sure if it was Adam in or out of character. Anyway, with a little persuasion by the monstrously large dragonborne and clawed, albino halfing, the githyanki was more than willing to answer any question put to him.

The heroes learned:
The palace is manned by a full garrison, near 100 soldiers
The torture chamber can be reached through a secret door under the main, double staircase, to Vlaakith's apartments.
Vlaakith is always under guard, as is the entrance to her apartments.

Little more of value was learned before the captive was tied up and locked in a cabinet...which was promptly laid flat, making his escape almost impossible.
