Tricked!

A short time later, the wererats made contact and Codrus setup an exchange in the basement of the Bull and Bear.

Kuppies cast an illusion to make everyone look like minotaurs and they descended a ladder into the basement. A fairly large opened allowed access to the sewers, and a large locked door exit to the street. Ford, still in tow, hid among several boxes, hoping to watch a good fight.

The wererats arrived and were there less than a minute when Ford yelled out, "It's a trap." Only he could see the 2 wererats sneaking down the ladder above Kuppies. Codrus grabbed the bound Rannos and rushed into the sewers while the wererats held the party at bay. Seconds later, there was a terrible scream, that could only have come from a minotaur. What happened to Codrus and Rannos is still not known. The wererats held their ground a little longer and then retreated into the sewers.
