The Sound of Freedom

Waiting for the attack horn at the top of the tower, the party didn't have to wait long. A few minutes after getting up there, the sound of a horn was heard off in the distance. As instructed, a barrage of flaming arrows, led by a lightening bolt hit the barracks. Unknown to the party, one of Alec's missions had been to lace the roofs of these buildings with pitch. The resulting eruption of heat and pressure knocked everyone prone. Alexander could almost feel Alec's excitement knowing in tandem, they had eliminated a massive threat to the invasion.

As the eruption settled down, Alexander heard Richard say they would be landing at the docks in 4 minutes. Kriv and Harbek's attack forces were already swarming into the city. Hasborac passed the word that all the mercanaries had been eliminated and that his men were entering the city.

The reclamation of the mainland had begun!
