Heading up the Tower

With the excitement from the ship battle dissipated, the party found it easy to sneak across town and located the tower they needed to climb.

Looking inside, silken threads permeated the interior of the building, appearing web like. Bravely, Mara moved inside and looked up. Much to her surprise, a swarm of spiders grabbed and dragged her up to their web. Racing into the tower, the rest of the party, except Leenia, went to work on one large spider and on the swarm.

Mara, managing to escape the web, fell prone to the floor, but managed to avoid the swarm again and the two creatures were quickly dispatched.

Heading to the roof of the tower, dawn was almost upon them.

Waiting impatiently, the heroes finally heard the battle horn and the attack to retake the city began.
