I want my mummy

Descending another set of stairs, the party found itself in an ancient burial chamber. Tombs lined the walls, some occupied, others empty, and some partially disturbed. In the center of the room was a drain. Leenia advanced to inspect the drain and once she got there, 4 tombs sprung open and mummies attacked the party. As they advanced, necrotic filth spilled out behind them and began to wind it's way through the room heading for the drain.

Ekeraath quickly commanded the group to retreat to the stairs, hoping to bottleneck the monsters. Alexander chose to ignore the command while everyone else accepted it. Leenia's sacred group helped as did Rudy's critical hit that destroyed one of the mummies outright. In less than 5 rounds, the party inflicted 300+ hitpoints of damage and with the luck of a critical hit, destroyed all of the undead.

Searching the remains, a Phrenic crown was recovered.
