Upon entering, the cave forms a natural hallway approximately 10 feet across(marching order). It continues for another 30 feet before entering into a large cavern. The light is minimal enough that you are able to see most of the cavern before entering. As you approach the end of the hallway, the stench of death becomes almost overpowering. You can see 5 kobolds inside the cavern attempting to cleanup the remains of a large creature that was obviously the previous inhabitant of the cave. The back of the cave is fairly deep at 40 feet away. It is flat as if worked smooth by craftsmen. There is an exit directly across the cavern from you. It has a balcony suspended over it with 1 kobold directing the 5 who are cleaning up. The rest of the cavern appears to be rough and natural although you cannot see the corners closest to you.
At this point, I would be remiss to not mention the constant healing supplied by Leenia and the barrage of Magic Missiles and Eldritch Blasts coming from Kuppies and Damakos.

Thanks for mentioning how I got to roast multiple minions at once with my breath weapon. Killing more than 2 creatures at once, as a fighter, is something I've been waiting for since I read about the Dragonborn breath attack and the 1 hp minions.
I also couldn't wait to climb a balcony in combat. I knew we'd come a across at least 1 since you seemed to love throwing them in during our playtesting.
2 goals down in our first night!. Now I have to think up some new goals. :)

've got a new goal for you: When Alexander sends a free attack your way, from now on, you have to roll something higher than a 7! :)
The grappling hook maneuver was classic and unexpected, definitely. I liked this fight.
Now here's a question for you all. Just trying to gauge how much of a challenge our night was for our characters. Try to think back and see if you can recall the following stats for your character:
Alexander:
(1) Lowest HP reduced to: (5 of 26)
(2) Healing surges used: (4 of 9)
(3) Daily Powers used: None
(4) Encounter powers used: 1 (of
4 encounters)
(5) At will powers used: 4-7.
(6) Times reduced to 0 hit points: Never
Ya know. I was just thinking about that today. If I keep that up, you may start giving free attacks to the rogue. Ewww.
I was doing some number crunching and it would actually be better for Rudy to get the free attack *if* is missed is attack earlier in the round and has combat advantage. His standard attack is 1d6+2 and can sneak attack once per round with combat advantage for 2d8+2. So he's swinging 7-26 if he can use his sneak attack. Compared to my 1d12+5, for 6-17. But remember that's only if he can only do that once per round and has to have combat advantage.
To answer your questions:
Lowest HP: ~12 of 31
Healing surges used: 3 of 12
Daily powers used: 2, but I missed both times and my power is reliable, so I keep it until it hits.
Encounter powers used: 2 But my class power works best when there are 2 non-minions within melee range of me.
At-will powers used: every attack but 2 where I didn't use an encounter or daily power.
Second Wind used: 0
Action points spent: 1
Great point on the rogue. He's doing 7-26, and that's not including the extra +3 damage from the free attack. So it would conceivably do 10-29. Crazy.
I'll remember that for the future. All the more reason for him to stay off in the shadows while you get the attention of the baddies!
