A Lead and Gifts

After leaving the academy, the heroes decided to visit Cassi in Sigil. They hoped she, or someone in Sigil, would be able to assist them. With Ford in tow, they visited the Spire of Ariel, and took their portal to their house in Sigil.

With Ford in the lead, they quickly traversed the Hive and found Cassi in her hospital, the Gatehouse. As with everyone else, she was happy to see them and even offered them some assistance. She took them to a massive vault of weapons and armor and provided them with numerous gifts. As a smuggler of weapons to Roduka in the Shadowfell, she kept some of the most powerful items in hopes of giving them to the heroes. They were overjoyed to accept her gifts.

She then suggested they speak with Vocar, a madman who resided at the Gatehouse. He had only one hand and one eye and was rumored to have been an Exarch of Vecna before going mad.

I had told the players to read the blog since I knew they would need the help of some NPCs to get to Vocar. Vocar does have a bit part mentioned in a previous blog post from over a year ago. Yes, I placed this guy over a year ago. I didn't have the details of what he would do at the time, but I was happy to revisit him.
