Their Oldest Enemy

Given the choice of three paths, the heroes took the center one and found themselves overlooking Damakos' camp. For the record, had they taken the left or right paths, they would have entered the camp via different locations.

After some brief scouting, including the assistance of Ford, the heroes concocted a plan of attack. There were several large demons near Damakos' tent along with several worshipers of Vecna.

With their plan in place, the heroes lit up the camp and attacked. Damakos and his lieutenants emerged from their tent and combat quickly livened up as Rudy recklessly went after Damakos, leaving enemies behind him.

Damakos wasn't that easy to pin down and proved a bit slippery, teleporting around and placing his guards in Rudy's way.

After several rounds, the time grew late and we decided to break for the night, the first time we ever broke mid encounter.
