What About the Guards?

Climbing back up the stairs to the main entry chamber, the party was not surprised to see 2 guards at their posts, on each side of the huge double staircase that led up to Vlaakith's chambers. Rudy stealthfully approached the one of the far side of the room and with everyone ready, the heroes sprang into action.

The guards were quickly overwhelmed and thanks to some brilliant tactics by Alexander, 3 other Githyanki in the hall were subdued before they could sound the alarm.

With that, the Heroes had to make the toughest choice of the day....engage Vlaakith, or flee with their hard won treasure? Being heroes, they had no choice but to engage Vlaakith!
