After several more hours in the air, the heroes spotted the ruins where they believed Varis was holed up. After a brief discussion, caution was thrown to the wind and the party landing the boat right in front of the abandoned temple ala BSG on New Caprica.
Two melee combatants guarded the door, receiving artillery support from 2 archers and another controller on top of a wall. I didn't expect this battle to be particularly difficult, but it took a bit more out of the party than I expected. It was a good battle with the guys on the wall having cover, and me remembering to use it.
This battle concluded the night as we got a late start and tried to wrap up before 1 am.
