Returning to Sigil

After finally escaping the Shadowfell, the party initially returned to Rel Astra where they found that Rard and Richard had taken their advice and launched an assault on the prison, hoping to take it back.

With the knowledge their suggestions had been appreciated and followed, they returned to Sigil. Their first stop was the shops that had items for them. Feeling better equipped, they returned to Garth, hoping the new shaft for Whelm was complete and that they could complete their promise to deliver an item to the Hive.

Garth had completed the item, but had been instructed that the party needed to subject themselves to a ritual that guarantees they deliver the item, or face a wasting sickness that would kill them six days after the ritual was initially cast.

I wasn't happy with how this went down. While it's standard practice in Sigil, the party was resistant to it and Garth had to give them Whelm basically in exchange for the delivery.
