Interogating the Interogater

Having successfully captured the Medusa, the heroes raced back to RelAstra to begin their planning. En route, they began their interrogation. Rudy dragged the bound and blindfolded creature from the hold and tied it to the mast while Leenia began a Detect Lies ritual. With that in effect, Alexander took the lead with questioning.

The medusa was hesistant to volunteer much without a promise from Leenia that she would be released safely. In the end, the party was able to gather a fair amount of information to aid in their planning.


• Approaching the island is very dangerous as there is a strong current and numerous rocks and a reef to avoid - a map had been recovered from the medusa's ship.
• The island has a watch that can see all approaching vessels.
• There is a garrison of minotaurs there. There are led by a small compliment of Yuan-ti.
• There are few prisoners there since the prison was not used till the war began.
• Main level is normal security
• Access to higher security level areas is only permitted with the correct colored badge
• Top level high security - Green Badge
• Basement Unique security requirements for powerful beings - Orange Badge

In the end, Alexander did have to persuade the medusa by severing a pair of the snakes growing from her head. The party also kept their promise and released the medusa on a deserted island, but not before Kuppies polymorphed her into a rabbit, using a ritual that will last over a century!

With the gathered information in hand, the A-team, I mean the party, joined some others and began planning. Also in attendance was Michael, Maravic, Snarla, Obrak, Alec, and Harbek.

In the end, Kuppies provided many valuable suggestions such as using arcane lock to lock doors to slow down enemies, polymorph rituals, and another ritual to change the wooden doors to metal or stone. Several of these were committed to scroll parchment so they might be more quickly used. Erdan offered up a ritual to shroud the island and boat in fog, allowing them to safely arrive. Additionally, Rudy provided some information detailing a secret cave entrance.

With the planning complete, the heroes departed.
