Exploring the City

Meeting Garth, Ekeraath finally had someone to talk eye to eye with. Initially Garth wanted 10,000 gp to fashion the shaft. With that, negotiations were entered into. The following was decided upon as a price:
5000 GP - the cost of the materials to craft the shaft
2000 GP worth of Residuum
Kuppies to enchant 2 items for him
Delivery of an item to the Hive, the slums of Sigil
Garth and Ekeraath did participate in an arm wrestling competition and after several extremely tense moments, Ekeraath emerged victorious.

Continuing their whirlwind tour of the city, the heroes asked to be taken to a Wizard's guild. Arriving there, Kuppies and Alexander, after displaying their powers, were invited to join the Guild of the Crimson Tower.

Leaving there, they next visited the Fighter's Guild that Garth had suggested to them, and that he was a member of. The Black Onyx. Once again, having to prove themselves, Ekeraath engaged in melee combat with a woman, Barb. It was an excellent battle, lasting for quite some time and resulting in what Ekeraath thought was his victory, until he looked down at the dagger pressing against an opening in his armor....a draw Having proved himself worthy, he and Alexander were invited to join the guild, and they did.

The last stop in their brief tour of the city was a Temple to Sehanine, so that Leenia could briefly commune with her deity and make contact with like minded individuals.

Realizing they had far exceeded the 2 hours they wanted to spend in the city, the party returned to the house and to RelAstra.
