Discussing Melech's letter in front of Hasborac, he claimed he had a way to get into the city without combat. They would then have to sneak through the streets and find an abandoned warehouse.
Bribing a guard that Hasborac pointed out to them, the party entered the city. With Rudy scouting ahead of the rest of the party, and pointing out lookouts, they slowly made their way through the streets. Doubling back at least once, they still alerted several of the lookouts. Several arrows, and a brief race through the streets, the party luckily stumbled upon the warehouse.
Entering the warehouse, it was indeed empty as Hasborac stated. The entrance to the sewers was hidden under a large empty crate in the corner. Descending into the sewers, Alexander immediately fell into a deep spot, covering himself in filth.
Exploring the sewers they were able to hear a couple gricks and avoid them with ease. Eventually, the party stumbled onto some type of locked portal.
With everyone puzzling over the lock, Ekeraath was the first to figure out the solution and as the wall in front of them dissolved, the party was able to enter the ancient tunnels.
