Going to War

Walking the party over to the pool, Stephen waves his hand over it and you find yourselves staring down at a massive landmass…you recognize it as the map you found in the library. Slowly, it begins to zoom in on the area you have been exploring. While this is happening, Stephen explains that over a month has passed since you left the citadel…time works differently here. The zoom continues and you see the largest city you have ever seen. Addressing a massive crowd is a man who looks like a much older version of Rard, almost certainly his father. You cannot hear what he is saying, as Stephen begins to explain: “The people of this region have been waiting for heroes to step forward. Your victory at the Citadel has revitalized them. Look here, the King is rallying forces for an assault on the mainland.” As you look more closely, you recognize Harbek and other members of the council from your island. Almost as if reading your mind, Stephen remarks, yes, your victory has inspired them all, even those hiding on your island.

The island has joined forces with Richard and together, they have raised an army and plan to begin invading the mainland. They will certainly appreciate your assistance in that endeavor.
