Traveling south along the river, the party stumbled upon Jehan. He was a slightly older man, who was collecting herbs and other spell components. Recognizing his name from the scroll, the party asked him about a Potion of Time Travel. Jehan quickly responded stating he had no idea how to create such a potion. His discomfort was obvious, and the numerous insight rolls supported that observation. Leaving Jehan behind, the party headed to Ximes. Rudy and Alexander began discussing the possibility of looking through Jehan's potion shop, before he returned.
After arriving in the city, Rudy and Alexander scoped out the potion makers shop. At the same time, the remaining members of the party visited the Cathedral. While there, they met Azedarac, the Bishop of Ximes. While praying, Leenia was given the impression that Azedarac was an evil man.
After listening to him preach that evening, the party managed to get a private audience. Azedarac was evasive and didn't have much to say.
That night, there was a knock on the door of their room at the inn. It was Jehan. He handed Rudy a vial and told them to leave town. It was obvious he was giving the party what they wanted in return for them leaving town.
After some debate, the party left, renting horses and beginning the trek to Perigon.
