After the boxing match, the party moved to the east and entered a room with a large chest in the corner and half a dozen panthers lying lazily about. After a fair amount of discussion, they decided to ignore the chest and leave the cats alone.
Moving to the north, the party entered the main hallway for the west wing of the mansion. As soon as they all entered, a massive gust of wind blew and extinguished all light sources. Kuppies responded quickly by casting a light spell. The result of this was totally unexpected. Every inch of the hallway, was covered in tiny mirrors, resulting in a blinding flash. Fortunately for the party, most of them made their saves and were not blinded.
Retreating back to the cat room, they decided to move eastward. The room they entered was the formal dining room and a ghostly feast was just about to start. Amazingly, there were place settings with name cards for the entire party. As the meal was beginning, everyone decided to sit at the table.
The first course was Onion soup. Several of the characters opted to eat it and got 1d4 permanent hit points....a great start.
With that, an amber wine was served. Drinking it restored all hit points and cured all diseases/conditions...once again, the great start continues.
A tossed salad was next served and this is where the conditions stopped being 100% positive. Those brave enough to indulge gained 1 to a random ability score, but also lost one to a random ability.
The main course was roast beef, it was tender and tasty.
Served with the main course, was:
Wheat Bread-Saving Throw+Con bonus, fail, -1 healing surge, pass,+ 1
Green Beans-slightly soggy, but otherwise good
Mushrooms in wine sauce-Saving Throw+Wisdom bonus, fail, -1 insight, pass +1
Red Wine-Saving throw+Strength bonus, fail, +1 to athletics, pass, -1
Finally, for dessert:
Apple Streudal-saving throw+dex, fail, +1 to athletics, pass, -1
Brandy-On a natural roll of 57-20, add 1 to your lowest ability score
Every time I have played this module, the Feast is a good time. This time was no exception. Several of the party members tried everything, others, only a couple.
