Dreams of the Future?

Exiting the room and continuing to the west, the party entered a large room. The door slammed shut behind them and the room filled with black dust. One by one, each adventurer fell victim to the sleep induced by the dust. Once awake, there was much discussion regarding everyone's dream. I've decided to post them all. If you don't want to know about them all, feel free to skip this section.

Alexander-You dream you are in charge of a great army. You have led it to victory after victory against the monsters that are part of the darkness. On their backs, you have reclaimed lands, even kingdoms. Yet, you press on knowing that their lives will be forfeit when the time comes for the final battle.

Ekeraath-You dream you are at the forefront of every meaningful battle as the good races fight to reclaim what once was theirs. You have led the way with your strength and honour. You are a role model to countless soldiers. You have slain all manner of enemy, from a lowly foot soldier to a mighty general. Once again, you are at the front of the line, for the last battle against what has ruled this world for 1000 years, and for the first time, you know fear, not just for yourself, but for the thousands who have idolized you and will now die because of it.

Kuppies-You dream you have reached the culmination of magical enlightenment. Your accomplishments are too numerous to count. From helping restore the Citadel of the Seasons to refounding the Council of Wizards. Now you are preparing for the last battle with what remains of the darkness. The Council and all the other wizards are readying for the battle. You look around, knowing that you will lead many, if not all of them, to their deaths.

Leenia – You dream you are preaching in front of an enormous crowd. As you begin preaching, the crowd is hostile to you. Mocking you, throwing rotten fruit, and insulting your faith. But you press on. The faith of your god filling you with strength. Slowly the attitude of the crowd begins to change. You are earning their respect, your faith is bringing them into the fold. By the time you complete your sermon, they have converted to following your teachings, they are now worshippers of the seasons. You have succeeded, newly armed with their faith, they will follow you into battle to reclaim what was lost…and almost certainly lose their lives.

Mara-You dream you have grown to be the leader of a forest based strike force. You have led your team to victory after victory. You have reclaimed thousands of acres from the destructive forces of the darkness. Now the time has come to join the final battle against the darkness. As you look around at the team you have forged and led into so many successful battles, you know most, if not all of them will not return from this battle.

Rudy-You dream you have organized a convert strike force that has infiltrated countless strongholds that the darkness had held. Through their efforts, the forces of good have reconquered numerous lands. In addition to that, your team has recovered several ancient artifacts from unexplored locations. Now you are prepping them for the final battle against the darkness. As they all watch you, you realize most, if not all of them, will not be returning from the battle.

After awakening and discussing their dreams, the stalker felt the time to strike was right. The party, unaware of the stalker, was ill prepared for the fight. Ekeraath took the first blow to the back and as the party discussed what had happened, Alexander took one. Attempting to flee from the room, most members of the party took damage as the stalker had a great location for attacks of opportunity. Once in the hallway, the stalker charged past Kuppies and continued the fight with Leenia and Rudy. Eventually, the party was able to surround and defeat the creature, but not before it had landed a couple of damaging blows.
