After exploring the rest of the floor, the party found a couple more scrolls and rituals. A rare find was a quill that halves the amount of time it takes to transcribe a ritual and can duplicate, exactly, one line of text per day.
The final room on the floor was another sparing room opposite the room the dragon was in. As Ekeraath entered, 4 warforged came to life and moved toward him. He quickly exited and the warforged returned to their previous positions.
The party discussed options for a few minutes outside the room, even considering playing the open the door, fire a bunch of arrows, and close the door. This would allow them win the encounter without actually being in danger...I would not have allowed it. So Ekeraath and Rudy entered the room and began combat. Once the warforged had their turn, one setup next to the door and this prevented anyone else from entering as they would have given an attack of opportunity. A great many missiles came through the door as the majority of the party pelted the warforged with their ranged attacks and Ekeraath and Rudy dished out hand to hand damage.
When all was said and done, the 4 warforged lay beaten and defeated and the party claimed a Staff of the War Mage and Dwarven Plate Armor.

Another good fight. Wasn't expecting them to be able to heal themselves. I suspect a warforged warlord would be pretty brutal.
Also - Mike, you should know that while Ekerrath was trying on his platemail armor, Alexander and Rudy went and pulled a scale, a claw, and a tooth from the dragon without Ek seeing. Thought you might appreciate that. Don't forget to add it to your inventory sheet.
I can't wait for the day Ekeraath finds those.
