The first adventure...continues... the trap room

Wanting to be a good DM, I'd like all my players to "be the star" from time to time. So, it was the rogue's turn in a classic trap room.

This room is very narrow, only 15 feet across, but 50 feet long. It appears completely empty except for 2 levers at the far end, one on either side of the corridor.

It took a little while, but Rudy was able to successfully navigate the room only setting off one pit trap. He made a successful save and managed not to fall in.

As they approached the end of the room, they were able to hear something very loud and very angry up ahead.

A rounding discussion resulted in trying to determine what the levers did, the party thought they would close a door at each end of the room...This was wrong. Eventually, they pulled the left lever and all the pit traps opened, allowing easy access across the room.

Cautiously rounding the corner, Rudy observed a young, white dragon who was apparently very unhappy. There was a small dias that obviously had some controls to open a door the dragon was trying to get through.

I liked the trap room! Fun stuff. And perfect timing, since it gave us the chance to dig into Joel's meatball recipe.
