Their Oldest Enemy part 2

It's been almost a month since we last played, but we pretty much picked up where we left off. As combat resumed, Damakos proved extremely slippery. Rudy hit him and he used an immediate reaction to teleport away, closer to the portal. As Rudy pursued him, the rest of the heroes worked together, taking down the first Balor Battlewhip. Much to their surprise, as he went down, he exploded in a ball of fire that was unavoidable.

Damakos and his minions struck back, hammering Alexander down to zero hit points, unfortunately for the villians, his epic destiny allowed him to get right back up. While Alexander was recovering, Rudy grabbed Damakos, hoping to keep him away from the portal. Once again, Damakos was slippery, using another power, infuriating escape to turn invisible and once again teleport away. Alexander and Rudy then setup in front of the portal, hoping to block Damakos from escaping.

As they stood their vigil, that last opponent on the board approached and used his Horrific Visage power, pushing both heroes into the portal....and they both failed their saves.

A second later, Alexander came hurling back after being hit by a fire titan on the far side of the portal. Rudy quickly retreated back through the portal to Idera. As they came through, Damakos became visible, sprouted wings, and flew over Rudy to escape through the portal.

After 2 minutes of discussion, the heroes pursued.
