Escape

With Vlaakith's body defeated, a cursory examination of her chambers yielded several powerful magic items, but no phylactery. Attempts to take a five minute rest were thwarted by 2 servants who found their defeated queen's body. Quickly dispatching them, the heroes attempted to make their escape.

Having damaged the portals when entering the castle, they headed for the statue of Gith, and hopeful escape to the city.

There were several guards on duty, but they represented little challenge, even for the battle weary party. Making it to the statue, they remembered the activation word, "Gith", and found themselves in the middle of a large courtyard down in the city of Tu'narath.
