With no other leads, the party headed to the Arboretum. Taking a moment by the sundial to discuss their options, Leenia noticed several small creatures moving in the woods. Had she not noticed them, they party would have been ambushed.
With her warning, the encounter started. A shambling mound, 2 vine horrors, and several smaller creatures attacked. Mara retreated off the trail to begin he usual work with arrows. Unfortunately, Alexander was grabbed by the shambling mound and stuffed inside. In a great tactical move, once a vine horror hit the shambling mound with lightening(healing it), they focused on the horrors and once they went down, the party quickly mopped the rest up. geek geek geek.<--I stepped away and Aimee sat down.
Once again, Leenia's prayer's came at the bequest of Acererak and when she denied Rudy healing, the party knew something was up.
