Rock, Paper, Scissors

Progressing on, the party entered a bare room, except for a small stand in the center. Engraved on it was:

Name the three, east, south, and west,
to gain access to the passage.

To wrap, to cut, and even smash,
I think you’ll find this snare a bash.

Hear from he who knowest best,
East has always bested west.

Exit, turn right, advance, turn right,
Advance, turn to see scissor.

Time is short,
Touch me to begin

After reading the inscription and touching it, the party found itself teleported to a small room with one door. After a couple minutes discussion and exploration, Kuppies realized this was a play on the child's game, Rock, Paper, Scissors. Once the party figured out the pattern and named the three statues, they exited the snare, returning to the room with the inscription.
However, the room had changed. In the place of the inscription, a single hole, one inch in diameter was located in the center of the stand. Additionally, a teleportation ring now encircled the room.
